You have to have perfect visibility for driving late at night. No matter which car you drive, your car should be equipped with a proper LED for clear vision. The point is ever crucial if you are habitual of traveling in the countryside or rural areas.

Number of Lights
In ACT, you are allowed to get a maximum of four lights. The four lights can be in the forward-facing direction. All four lights can come in a combo form.
For instance, two could be LED light bars and the other as spotlights. In case of all LED light together, one light act as single Lamp.
All LED lights come in one form and are taken as a single entity. In the case of multiple lights with single switching, it would be taken as a single lamp.
The Fitting of Lights
As per ACT, light has to be facing the front side and must be in the centre of the vehicle. In symmetry also, it should be in the centre alignment.

Also the configuration of the light should be such it cause no harm to driver while on road. It should not cause any discomfort as well. Lights should be clear for the driver and must enlighten the vision of the driver.
The operations of Lights
The installation of the additional lights should also be in line with the law. These should only work when the high-beam LED lights are turned on.
Similarly, the lights should turn off with the beam lights. In other words, the additional lights are linked with high beam LED lights.
The switch of the additional lights can be separated. However, the power source of these lights come from LED beam lights.
Type of Lights
The type of additional lights for your vehicle is also specified in ACT. As per rules, you can only have white lights as additional lights for your vehicle.
There are different and many lights with each vendor. The lights could vary accordingly. Some are light bars as well as some specific lamps.

For installation purposes, you have to check the local laws in Australia. It is true that laws working in one state don’t apply in the other state. Thus, you have to be pretty alert and prudent when planning in this regard.
