There should be no light on the bull bar, mainly on the top position
- It should not be on the top of the roof
- Neither should it be on the roll bar
As far as the symmetry of the lights is concerned, there are no restrictions towards pairing.
The operations of Lights
The installation of the additional lights should also be in line with the law. These should only work when the high-beam LED lights are turned on.
Similarly, the lights should turn off with the beam lights. In other words, the additional lights are linked with high-beam LED lights.
The switch of the additional lights can be separated. However, the power source of these lights comes from LED beam lights.
For operational purposes, the standard laws and regulations apply. The distance from the other vehicle has to be 200 m when using additional lights.
Also, make sure these lights do not cause any issues while you are driving. It should not be a hassle for the other car as well.
Type of Lights
The type of additional lights for your vehicle is also specified in Tasmania. As per the rules, you can only have white lights as additional lights for your vehicle.
