The Benefits of the edgeless design

The edgeless series work lamps are for harsh mining environments. Besides this, they are also suited for other heavy-duty applications. While working in rough sites, workers need to see the hurdles so they can react to them in good time.

For this reason, good glare in the working area is very important. The edgeless design generation 2 work lamps have a very high light output of up to 2,800 lumens.

Furthermore, they provide better visibility, increased safety as well as improved productivity. As the light is similar to daylight, it allows the operator to work with less fatigue.

Meanwhile, its energy utilization is just 48 watts. There is lesser power consumption as compared to halogen devices. This results in lesser CO2 emission.

Different Variants For Particularly Demanding Work Environments

Suited for a specific work environment, the 3 illumination options are very useful. In poor visibility situations, lamps with amber and green colored lenses are suitable. These situations include fog, snowfall, or dust.

The new variant is well-equipped with a new reflector & innovative optical system. The lighting system has been improved to produce a sharp horizontal cut-off line at 0°.

This will bring the light exactly to the ground in front of the vehicle. The cut-off line makes sure that the oncoming operators are not blinded by the light.

Furthermore, the close-range illumination is also enhanced. This results in more light in the width and front of the vehicle.

Another variant features more long-range illumination thanks to greatly improved light distribution. This allows for perfect visibility in the distance.

Whereas, a completely new addition is a version with tunnel flood. This version produces a perfect light image underground.

Made of high-quality die-cast aluminium, Edgeless Design Gen. 2 work lamp is corrosion-resistant. Furthermore, it also has a black powder coating. What’s special about this coating is that it’s adapted to harsh environments.

The LED work lamps can be mounted in different ways. They can be put upright, pendant, and rectangular due to a centered, robust bracket. Even in environments with high vibration requirements, there is ideal and homogeneous illumination.

Thanks to the different mounting options. The new generation 2 work lamp is an absolute all-rounder. It is ideal for all mining vehicles and heavy-duty machinery due to its compact size.
