However, leak occurrence is a different case, which might cause a system failure because of water ingress.

Condensation

It’s the process of water changing into vapor form and then liquid. It looks like tiny moisture droplets inside your light.

However, condensation isn’t a big deal because the regular operation will not be interrupted. So it’s not a warrantable condition.

The New Vision’s lamps are super cool because they are designed in a way to escape moisture.

However, the time required for the moisture to escape will be based on whether you’ve switched on the light or not.

Water Ingress

This is about the water leakage into your light. You’ll clearly see large water droplets inside the lights. The reason for water ingress may differ.

If your light has water ingress because of misuse or physical abuse, it will not be considered a manufacturing defect.

If the water ingress is due to a workmanship problem, you can consider it as a warrantable case. If that’s the situation, you can contact the authorized dealer to return the product.

Virtually, condensation is common in all lights because of the following situations: 

• The air gets trapped inside when lamps are manufactured.
• The light’s plastic parts absorb air moisture.
• When the light gets heated, the plastic parts will let out moisture. This will mix with air.
• The moisture gets attracted to the lamp’s coolest part, such as the lens.
• The Halogen lamps get heated sooner than LEDs, so moisture evaporates sooner.

LEDs take time to heat up, so it takes more time to evaporate. Thus, it’s noticeable.
