New Vision is Launching New LED Beacon
New Vision, the electronics, and lighting expert is introducing the smallest homologated beacon that has ever been introduced. It’s just 77 millimeters in height. W47 Series’ big version utilizes LED technology to benefit the tiniest spaces.
The product is ideal for tractors and large and municipal vehicles. These vehicles have height restrictions or do not have much space for mounting. So this LED beacon is best suited for them.
The flashing light in this beacon helps produce amber warnings. It is with a long-range signal to keep site workers and road users safe.
Due to this, the product has high intense light. This meets the R65 Class 1 approval from the European ECE standard. And it has the J845 Class 1 approval from the American SAE standard.
Product Manager at NV, Jerry Wong, says, “With this series beacon, we are bringing a powerful beacon onto the market that optimally complements our portfolio and can be used flexibly.”
There are three surface variants for mounting. The standard version includes the mounting points of one-to-one replacement introduced by NV. It has 130 millimeters of bolt circle diameter. For example, if an LED technology upgrade is required.
If vehicle manufacturers ask, they’d be able to get the 190 millimeters of diameter. It is the slim version.
You can also find another mounting variant, which has flexible pipe sockets. In this, you’ll see the base with vibration-damping, and shock-absorbing features tilt a little by 45 degrees to provide strong impacts.
