Flood, Spot, Or Combination For Driving

Knowing the difference between a spotlight and a floodlight is important. It helps in understanding lighting for any kind of application.

Though we have a wide range of off-road and work lights, most bulbs look the same. But different patterns of beams are usually emitted from other bulbs.

Spot Beam: The light from a spotlight is more focused. And the spot beams are projected in a narrow and longer beam to a specific area. They are often used for necessary distance lighting. Spotlights are usually found in gardens and theatres. But are also used when replacing headlights.

Flood Beam: Floodlights offer a wide spread of light but at a bit of distance. They are used for applications that need widespread and illuminating large areas. Such as lighting for architecture, parking, and construction sites.

Combo Beam: Some drivers tend to have a combination of two, one spotlight and other floodlights. It is like the best combination of the two best lights.

It is a Must Have For Tractor drivers

Switching to these flood work lights has been phenomenal for me. Before, I had stock cab work lights which did not work well at all for the rear-mounted snowblower, especially at night. The entire area is lightened up by these flood lights. Without any second thoughts, I immediately bought two more to replace the front work lights too.

It was easy to fix them as they adjusted very well with my existing wiring. Non-flimsy sheet metal mounts were adjustable. Just as per my need without having the mount bend or the threads stripping off.

Outstanding Affordability

Replace stock headlights in my 2009 Big Bear 400 IRS. Such a great value for all three of my lights.

They had fit well in stock housing after a slight grind on both edges of the bolt housing, running the bolt through the plastic and drilling a few holes.

I fixed the vivid high beam wire using the stock wiring to match my headlights with led bar in kelvin.
